TrainerVerdict is an independent editorial publication reviewing software used by personal trainers, fitness coaches, and gym operators. We exist because most "best coaching software" content is written by people who have never paid for a Trainerize seat, migrated a roster off a competing platform, or processed a single client payment.

How we work

We test where we can, we synthesize where we can't, and we tell you which. Every review applies a five-criteria weighted scoring rubric, with a hard data-portability gate: a platform that won't let you cleanly export your client roster fails, regardless of other scores. Editorial independence

We participate in affiliate programs for many of the products we cover. This is disclosed at the top of every article in compliance with FTC guidance. We do not allow vendors to review or influence our coverage before publication. A product's affiliate commission rate has no bearing on its score, position, or recommendation. Where two products would otherwise rank identically, ties are broken on the lower commission — explicitly, to bias against pay-to-play.

Who writes for TrainerVerdict

All articles are produced by the TrainerVerdict Editorial Team. We publish under a single editorial byline rather than rotating individual authors. Where domain expertise is required (S&C programming nuance, nutrition scope-of-practice, gym ops accounting), we cite anonymized real expert quotes from interviewed practitioners whose credentials we have verified.
